More Ruby and Turquoise Print

Looking at this image, I see what's typical for me...creating something that is fictional. On the other hand, my pattern that I designed in the background was created with layers and shapes and other self-made fabric patterns aiming to have the appearance of worn fabric. So, I then imagined worn soft slightly sheer drapes and deep red foliage outdoors which show through.

Poplar Leaves Gocco Print

So, this is my first print with my PG Arts for paper, and I had a great time staying up until 1 this morning to finish these! Now, I'd like to talk some offbeat bride
into having me create her save the date cards and or invites with a design similar to this...perhaps using some common fish shapes and earth tones with be cool too! The offbeat bride is my new true soul mate! I just discovered her and I can't wait to read her book. I was just called a bride the other day by my hubby of 23 years, and I'm sure he and others think I more than qualify the offbeat part too. Offbeat bride is my soul mate and this is just one reason: I really believe that just because you are getting married doesn't mean that you need to wear the same shoe that everyone else has. Be different, be yourself and have fun planning and attending your own wedding. Find wedding components that display your personality and originality. Why not have orange and hot pink as your colors? The most beautiful bride I ever saw, wore a iridescent pea green strapless dress. She was stunning, amidst flowers found on a mountainside in Montana and sunflowers grown by her family in rich fabulous colors. I wish that would have been me! I'll see if I can't find some pictures some day of her.....sigh

I still have my Jcrew boots size 10 and beautiful

I ended up putting my boots on ebay for auction. The didn't sell. I'm so bummed. These are so beautiful and with the snow and ice disappearing, they would be a great purchase for someone right now. Jcrew has fantastic quality too. boo hoo...someone buy my boots from me! Pictures are below.

Gocco'd Wedding Invites

Well there is a bit of a glare on this image, but you can see it well enough I think. The ink is silver and brown on navy colored paper. It's a 5.25 x 5.25 card. This was all I had time to photograph this am before heading to the dentist office for work, but I had to put it up! I hope my lady in London will be pleased she has a beautiful set of wedding stationery coming her way soon!

Okay, I'm not a fan of this 'man-boob', but am in total love with this hedgehog photo. What a cutie pie! I saw these on etsy this am and had to look them up tonight and add them to my bloggie. Check out Ellusim's shop with the etsy link above and see what other cool creations she has.

Hot off the printer...

This has been a fabulous project to work on with a really terrific couple. 200+flat cards with a custom design to emulate a rock concert poster. I think it turned out awesome. I'll be printing early this week, get the envelopes and screen print the address on the back flap of their envelopes and shoot them off into the mail!

I'm a loving fan of the Gocco and here is a beautiful example of find Gocco craftiness created by Michelle Brusegaard . Her shop is fantastic~easily she defines success with with her charming designs, imagination and use of color. I'd love to send a set of these to all of my friends, Jenbert, Lonna, Mom, Jen Trott , Gina, Carmin, Denise, Sheryl, Nanette ..... It's the thought that counts, right? I hope I didn't forget anyone, while I'm dreaming of handing out some of these fine wears!

More Wedding Designs!

Here are some screen printed RSVP cards I'm printing for a wonderful gal from the United Kingdom. In this case, my client has designed the stationery and I'm printing them for her. This has been a great project, but challenging as well! I'm fortunate in the image above, that the silver ink is showing up nicely! The heart is printed in brown ink, a little difficult to decipher in the photo. :) They look amazing...

New wedding stationery

These were printed from my printer and created from one of my insta-designs. I really enjoyed creating the star fish image. My printer adjusted to the small size of these 4bar cards very well. Much better than some of the same size in one of the pearly papers I'd used in the past. This is a heavily textured Strathmore paper, a nice watercolor paper actually. A very nice choice~

Poppies Mini Painting

I painted this little bit of sunshine a few nights ago. It's 5 x 5, a gallery wrap canvas with 1.5" staple free sides. I used acrylic and a graphite pancil. I haven't listed it on Etsy just yet, but I may get the chance before leaving for work.

New Cards

I've added some new greeting card designs to my shop~ The paper I use is a heavy watercolor paper with a beautiful deckle. Funny how I have dozens of cards lying around and not so many available in the store!
